Here are recent planning applications for the Conservation Area:
In the last SCAS Newsletter we highlighted the issues surrounding Tesco’s plans to open a new `express’ supermarket in the old Barclays Bank building on the corner of Queens Road and Clarendon Park Road.
The current `change of use’ rules allow the bank to be used as a supermarket without the need for further planning consent. However, Tesco has formally submitted several planning applications for related development and members of the public now have the opportunity to express their views to City Council planners.

The case officer is Mr T Ipgrave. The deadline for comment is Friday April 4th.
