Following the outstanding success of July’s trip to the Barber Institute and Winterbourne House and Gardens, we have organised two outings for 2015.
On Wednesday May 6th you will be able to explore the indoor and outdoor attractions of the Crich Tramway Village and Museum and enjoy the splendid Spring-blooming rhododendrons and azaleas at Lea Gardens near Matlock.
On Wednesday September 30th we will be visiting the National Collection of Autumn-flowering Asters at Picton Garden near Malvern and the Museum of Royal Worcester Porcelain in Worcester.
Full details of both trips are included in the accompanying flyers. They can be booked separately or together (in which case a £5 discount applies).

There will be a guided walk with Richard Gill on Saturday 4th October, 2014. It will begin at 2.30pm and is free for existing SCAS members, £6 to non-members.

We will be at the Stoneygate Festival 2013 – taking place on Saturday 5 April, 10am-4pm at Stoneygate Baptist Church, 315 London Road.
Nick Knight will be giving a talk at 1.30pm and there will be other exciting guests including Richard Buckley OBE, Sir Peter Soulsby and Peter Barratt, the grandson of suffragette Alice Hawkins.
Entry is free and we are grateful to Stoneygate Baptist church for organising and inviting us to the event.
